Return & Refund Policy

At La Verne, we want you to love your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, we're here to help.

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

Be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it;
Include all original packaging, inserts, accessories, and intact outer product boxes;
Not show signs of use, tampering, or damage caused by the customer;
Be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

For hygiene and safety reasons, opened, used, or partially used skincare and cosmetic products cannot be returned or refunded unless the item is defective or required by applicable law.

Returns must be authorized by La Verne prior to shipment. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and may be returned to the sender at the customer's expense.

If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.

Please note:

  • The cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error or a verified product defect.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of our error, including an incorrect, defective, or damaged item.
  • Duties, taxes, customs fees, and brokerage charges are non-refundable.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if:

  • the item is defective;
  • the item is damaged; or
  • you received the wrong item.

Please provide photographs of the item and packaging so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Skin Reactions & Allergies

We care deeply about your skin. Individual skin sensitivities and allergic reactions may vary. We recommend performing a patch test before using any new skincare product.

If you experience an allergic reaction or skin irritation, please contact us at info@lavernecosmetics.com within 14 days of delivery and provide:

  • your order number;
  • photographs of the reaction and product;
  • a description of the issue; and
  • proof of purchase.

Claims relating to allergic reactions or skin sensitivities are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

To be considered for a refund or replacement, the product must generally be at least 80% full.

La Verne reserves the right to request additional information to assess the claim.

We are not responsible for reactions resulting from:

  • failure to review ingredient lists;
  • known allergies or sensitivities;
  • misuse of the product;
  • use contrary to product instructions; or
  • combining products with incompatible ingredients or treatments.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • opened or used products;
  • products with broken safety seals;
  • gift cards;
  • final sale items;
  • promotional items;
  • free gifts;
  • products marked as non-returnable; and
  • products purchased through third-party retailers or marketplaces.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

The fastest way to receive a different item is to return the eligible item you have and place a new order once your return has been approved.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If the merchandise is shipped to a country within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

To qualify, the item must:

  • be unused and unopened;
  • be in its original condition and packaging;
  • include proof of purchase; and
  • comply with all applicable hygiene and cosmetic product regulations.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that your bank or credit card company may require additional time to process and post the refund.

Refunds may be reduced or denied if:

  • returned items are damaged;
  • items are missing packaging or components;
  • products show signs of use;
  • fraudulent or abusive activity is suspected; or
  • the return does not comply with this policy.

Fraud Prevention

La Verne reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, replacements, or exchanges in cases of:

  • suspected fraud;
  • abuse of this return policy;
  • excessive return activity; or
  • violation of these terms and conditions.
  • International Orders

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, import fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

Due to the hygienic nature of skincare and cosmetic products, all returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
